My Commercial Work

I finally have decided to start working on my commercial assignments.

I am not really sure what I want to use this image for but I could use it as a still life or my reflective metal. This is not my final edit, but I just wanted to get something up for you all to see :D Tonight I will be shooting my Low key Male assignment and tomorrow I have a supper busy day with my friend Autumn who is a make up artist and my friend Chelsea and Diana who are my models. So I should have some more Portrait work up soon.

Cooped up all day

Hey Everyone! So for the past few days I have been super busy, and have had no time to write to you guys. This weekend was the open house and that really drained all my energy. Yesterday we had a guest speaker that stood out alot to me. They are a married couple that shoots weddings for a living. There names are Mary and Justin Marantz. Mary in particular touch my heart so deep that I could not stop my tears from running down my face when she spoke abut her childhood. She spoke of how her father did everything he could do for her. She said, “ My dad spent his life building mine.” And when she spoke those words and told her story she reminded me of my father and myself, because my father is building mine. My father is one of the hardest working people in this world and I love him so much! He works and works his butt off just to give me my dream.

“Dad I love you with all of my heart and thank you so much for everything you do.” Love Emily Rose
 This is my Daddy

Last night I went shopping for some of my commercial work that I will be shooting tonight because I guess models don’t like to follow through with me L lol. Unfortunately I am cooped up in classes all day so I will be spending a lot of time editing and organizing my time.

Here are some cute outtakes from my shoot on Saturday with the Morwin Family.

Family Shooting

The past few days have been supper stressful with all the planing of getting models to come model for me, but today really reassured me that everything is going to be okay. This weekend is going very well so far. I had a photo shoot with my family today that was super relaxing and fun! We went to alot of different places and explored the surrounding area. We found fields and water and just really enjoyed ourselves. It was also supper great to spend time with my family. we went to Dinner and celebrated my cousins birthday and also got ice cream :) I just wanted to thank you guys so much for coming out here to help me out with my assignments for school. You all worked so well with me and I could not have done it without my assistant Julia and my Mom helping as well :D You guys are all so great. LOVE YOU!!!

Here are some pictures from today

My Enlightening Experience

Today was a great experience for me.  I went with my classmates on location for Gregory Heisler’s class. We went to a woman’s house. Her name was Rebecca. This House really cannot be explained or my experience and how enlightening it was. There is just so much to it. The house was custom made for Rebecca. The Design of the house is circular(reason why it is called the "Round House"), so that when you walk in there is just a big open space all the way up to the 3rd floor. The min I walked in I just wanted to meditate right in the middle of the floor. There are TONS of Buddha’s and prayer flags all over the house, which has over 20 rooms. If you are lucky you will find all of the secret passageways.  Rebecca is a wonderful person and is a very important person that has passed through my life.  I would like to visit her again to talk more with her about her Buddhist ways.

This Image bellow was one of the cute little bedrooms and wish it was mine. It was also one of the little beds that had a secret passage up above me. Each of the beds had a pen and journal for people to write their experience of staying in that particular room, because Rebecca allows people to stay at her house.

hope you all enjoy this shot.

Slow Day

Today is a slow day and there is not much going on here at school today. I had a conference with my instructors here at school today reviewing my work that I posted here on my blog. It went very well, and they like all of my work. I have been spending most of my day planning the next few weeks to come. This weekend is going to be busy with our Student Open House. I have to be sure Print 3 images that will be seen on the walls of the school. If anyone would like to attend please go to the Hallmark Page for any information.  http://www.hallmark.edu

I don't have any images that i have recently worked on but i will show one of my self portraits I did recently. Enjoy! and everyone have a great day.

Senior Portraits

Hi everyone! So for the past few weeks I have been working on my ‘Additional Personal Submissions’ for my final portfolio here at school and here are some of the photos that have been edited. My personal submissions are based on senior portraits. Luckily I had beautiful weather to work with. I plan to go back home to Albany, New York to shoot around the area for seniors for their final yearbook portraits.
